AI Teleprompter Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
Effective date: July 28, 2026
"AI Teleprompter" (referred to below as the "App," "we," "us," or "our") is a utility application that helps users create scripts, use a teleprompter, and record videos.
We value and respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we process relevant information when you use the App and the rights you have regarding that information.
We process information according to the principle of data minimization. Your scripts, audio recordings, videos, and speech recognition content are primarily processed locally on your device. Except as expressly described in this Policy, we do not actively upload, read, or store the content you create.
1. Information We Process
1.1 Scripts and App Settings
When you create or edit a script in the App, the following content may be generated:
- Script titles and text;
- Font size, color, line spacing, and alignment;
- Scrolling speed, mirroring, and playback settings;
- Other preferences you configure in the App.
This data is primarily stored locally on your device and is used to provide teleprompter, editing, and personalization features.
We do not use your scripts for advertising, and we do not sell them to third parties.
If you uninstall the App or clear its data, content stored locally on your device that has not been backed up separately may be deleted.
1.2 Camera Permission
When you use video recording, camera preview, or related features, the App needs access to your device's camera.
Camera permission is used only to:
- Display the camera preview;
- Record videos;
- Provide teleprompter recording features.
Camera images are processed by your device. We do not activate the camera without an action initiated by you, and we do not use camera images for advertising analysis or user profiling.
You can disable camera access at any time by going to "Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera" on your device. Features that depend on the camera will not work properly after access is disabled.
1.3 Microphone Permission
When you record a video with sound or use voice tracking, speech recognition, or similar features, the App needs access to your device's microphone.
Microphone permission is used only to:
- Record sound in videos;
- Recognize your speech while you read a script;
- Provide text highlighting or automatic scrolling based on your reading progress.
Voice tracking and speech recognition are primarily processed locally on your device. We do not use your audio recordings for advertising, user profiling, or model training.
You can disable microphone access at any time by going to "Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone" on your device. Video audio recording, voice tracking, and related features may become unavailable after access is disabled.
1.4 Speech Recognition
When you enable voice tracking, automatic scrolling, or text highlighting, the App may analyze your speech in real time to determine your current reading progress.
Speech recognition results are used only to provide the relevant features. We do not actively retain complete speech recognition content, use it for advertising, or sell it to third parties.
Some speech processing capabilities may rely on system frameworks or services provided by Apple. The related data processing is also governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and your device's system settings.
1.5 Photos and Media Permission
The App may need access to your photos or media when you:
- Select a video or image from your photo library;
- Save a recorded or exported video to your photo library;
- Preview, share, or manage media content you select.
The App processes only photos, videos, and other media files that you actively select or create.
We do not browse, upload, or collect other content in your photo library without an action initiated by you.
You can change or revoke photo access at any time in your device's system settings.
1.6 Local Video Processing
When you record, preview, or export a video using the App, the related video processing is primarily performed locally on your device.
Recorded videos may be temporarily stored in the App's directory to support preview, composition, and export. You can delete the relevant files using features in the App or your device's system features.
Unless you actively choose to share, upload, or save a video to another service, we do not upload your videos to our servers.
1.7 Subscription and Purchase Information
The App may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, lifetime purchases, or other in-app purchases.
Payments and transactions are processed by the Apple App Store. We do not directly obtain or store your full bank card number, payment password, or similar complete payment information.
To determine your subscription status, restore purchases, and manage paid entitlements, the App may use the subscription management service provided by RevenueCat.
RevenueCat may process the following technical information:
- In-app purchase records;
- Product identifiers;
- Subscription status and expiration date;
- Anonymous user identifiers associated with purchase status;
- Necessary technical information such as device and App versions.
This information is used only to verify purchases, restore subscriptions, and provide paid features.
Subscription purchases, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple according to the applicable App Store rules.
2. Information We Do Not Actively Collect
Unless a feature clearly requires it and you have provided authorization, we do not actively collect:
- Your real name, government identification number, or home address;
- Contacts, text messages, or call history;
- Precise location;
- Health, medical, or biometric information;
- Your Apple ID password;
- Bank card numbers or payment passwords;
- Photos or videos you have not actively selected;
- The specific text contained in your scripts;
- IDFA for cross-app advertising tracking.
The App does not sell your personal information or use your scripts, audio recordings, photos, or videos to train artificial intelligence models.
3. System Permission Management
Camera, microphone, photo, and speech recognition permissions require your explicit authorization.
You can view, change, or revoke the relevant permissions through the system settings on your iPhone or iPad.
Revoking authorization does not affect processing performed before revocation based on your authorization, but it may prevent certain features from working properly.
4. Third-Party Services
The App may use the following third-party services to provide subscription management and system features.
Apple
Apple is used to provide App Store in-app purchases, system permissions, camera, microphone, photo library, speech processing, and other iOS system capabilities.
Apple's processing of relevant information is governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy.

These third-party services may process relevant technical data based on the locations of their servers. We seek to minimize the scope of transmitted data and use these services only when necessary to provide the corresponding features.
5. Information Storage and Retention
Your scripts, recorded content, and App settings are primarily stored locally on your device.
For subscription status and necessary technical information processed by third-party services, the retention period is determined by the relevant service provider's privacy policy, business needs, and legal obligations.
When relevant information is no longer used for the purposes described in this Policy, we or the relevant service provider will delete or anonymize the data in accordance with applicable rules.
6. Information Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect relevant information, including:

8. Children's Privacy
The App is not designed specifically for children.
We do not knowingly collect children's names, contact details, or other information used to identify children.

9. International Processing
Services used by the App, including Apple and RevenueCat, may operate servers in different countries or regions.
As a result, limited technical data related to subscription verification may be processed outside your country or region.
We do not use these services to actively upload the text of your scripts, audio recordings, videos, or photos.
10. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy in response to changes in App features, third-party services, laws and regulations, or regulatory requirements.
If an update materially affects your rights, we will notify you through an in-app notice, our official website, or another appropriate method.
The updated Privacy Policy will display a new revision date and will take effect when published or on the stated effective date.
